Foreword by Argia A.
When it comes to the good old days of the independent scene, back in '09 and some years after that, I was still in 6th grade and had no idea that somewhere out there, a group of guys, an entire golden generation was making music until I stumbled upon one of Marcell Thee's work, Sajama Cut. I think I'm not the only one that experienced this and what a pleasant ride it has been following Marcell's work from time to time, from making a massive pop catalogue to plunging himself into ambient music today.
People may have known noisewhore as an event organizer, where you all can tag us in the comment section of your favorite artist's instagram in hope of us putting out a show for them. But real G's know we used to do this thing, we did the premiere of Avhath back in 2016 and the post mortem album of the mythical Sadfords Lads Club later on in that year. We wrote reviews upon reviews, some of them may be available here in the new site. If we're all being honest, I prefer to do those things that putting out shows every 2 months. So when Ernest of Gabe Gabe Tapes approached me just last week to do a premiere for Marcell Thee's 39th (!!) album, I'm more than happy to do it.
What you're reading now is just a foreword from me, there will be an in depth interview with Marcell next month in our printed zine, launching February 20.
In the meantime, enjoy Hologram Blue.
